Reggae time for the creative industries

Creative industries also rank high on the agenda in Jamaica. However, it should come as no surprise that creative industries in the Carribean region are not the main worry of politicians and policy makers. Even when keeping in mind that (as Miranda La Rose observes in Stabroek News) “in the Jamaican economy cultural artist Sean Paul earns for Jamaica more than the banana industry does in one year.”
