The Manila Bulletin Online today reports about proposals to establish a special court for intellectual property violations in the Philippines. Currently, nearly 1,200 cases of IP violations are pending in court - much more than the system can handle.

According to Chinese authorities China is importing too many foreign movies relative to the number of Chinese movies that is being exported. New government regulations should help to (further) protect China’s market for cultural goods and services.
